Horse riding
Very close to Il Bricco there are well-organized riding stables where it is possible to book lessons or take part in hacking out over wooded and scenic trails and through beautiful vineyards. All levels are catered for.
E-Bike
It is also possible to hire cycles including E-Bikes. If required, guides are also available for tours of different lengths and difficulty, depending on your ability.
Truffles
In our region during the season, from mid-September to mid-November, it is also possible to join a local expert, with their dog, in their search for Alba’s white truffle. The “Tartufo” as it is known locally, is a famous delicacy for the table.
Wine
In Piedmont, and especially in Monferrato and Langhe, are created some of the finest wines to come out of Italy. Many are produced at the historic wineries that have the famous “underground cathedrals”, but also many wines are produced by small, local wineries where it is possible to have guided tours complete with tastings of high-quality wines. At Il Bricco we also have a small but well-stocked wine cellar, where we produce and mature Barbera d’Asti d.o.c.g., the premier wine of our region.
Antiques market
In Nizza Monferrato, every third Sunday, an Antiques market is held in the main square, where it is possible to browse and maybe source a hidden gem from any of the 150 exhibitors.
